Descrizione
What you're looking at isn't just any 8-string guitar. The Guild BT-258SE electro-acoustic baritone comes with six lower-tuned strings of which the A and D string are doubled via an extra octave string, creating a vibe that's comparable to a 12-string guitar or even a mandocello as you grab and play familiar chords. This steel-stringed Guild comes pre-tuned in B (BEADBF#B), meaning five strings are lowered by a semitone for a little extra tonal richness, while the OX bracing and solid Sitka spruce top add volume and sustain.
The BT-258E Deluxe 8-String Baritone: A Rich Low-End Topped With Sweetened Trebles
Since the solid soundboard is supported by a rosewood back and sides, the foundation sound is comprised of a rich low-end and the lightly sweetened trebles shaped by a bone nut and matching saddle. Plug the BT-258E Deluxe into an amp and the built-in piezo pickup and Sonitone GT-1 preamp from Fishman wil immediately take over to deliver a stunning amplified sound that can be adjusted using the tone and volume controls concealed inside the soundhole.

De Guild 8 snarige bariton: geweldige gitaar, bijzondere stemming (B-B). Wel erg dikke snaren: van 016-070, dus hard werken voor je vingers. het went wel.
De dubbelkorige snaren geven net een beetje een 12-snarig effect, precies genoeg.
En de grote klankkast zorgt voor een fantastisch vol geluid.
